Almost seventeen years ago, Sheila Tom relocated to the Black Hills from Texas, and now she never wants to leave. A great place to live, with beautiful seasonal weather (incredible summers!), the Black Hills is an area that Sheila is proud to call home.

Growing up in West Texas, and graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Sheila worked for nine years as a Speech Pathologist. In 1986 she made the career move to Real Estate and she has never regretted it. As the owner of Sheila Tom Properties for seven years before moving to Rapid City, she now works for, as Sheila says -- "the best company in Rapid City, Re/Max Realtors!"

With two grown children -- one in New Orleans attending school at the University of New Orleans to become a sound engineer, and playing in a band and the other, a graduate of the University of Montana at Missoula, who has returned to live and work in Rapid City -- Sheila has found her life recently taken over by a little long haired miniature dachsund -- Maddie! The best part is that she recently acquired a home in Puerto Vallarta and loves traveling to Mexico. But she remains devoted to her clients and their specific needs. Says Sheila - "I love selling real estate and consider it an honor to work for my very special clients."
